Is there anything sweeter than Mark...
I hope you can find the episode, Judy. ...
Me, too! :sweatdrop: :icon_biggrin:
... Yeah, there was insulin-dependent diabetes on both sides of the family. One of my cousins died at 16 from brittle diabetes, one of my aunts had diabetes whenever she got pregnant, and one of my uncles lost his legs to diabetes. My parents both wound up insulin dependent.
There is a lot of diabetes on my father's side of the family, and several family members are insulin dependent. My mother's side of the family seems to have escaped the decease.
I'm very careful to keep my weight down and watch the sugar and I celebrated last year because I got my A1C down enough to get off Metformin.
Good for you, Zanza!
I can't remember the name of the episode, but Luke brought Mark to town with his head tied up in a kerchief. He took Mark over to Doc Burrage because Mark needed a tooth pulled. Something about his "last molar" which I think would have been a wisdom tooth. Sometimes wisdom teeth would get pulled, for what reason I do not know. I know I had my wisdom teeth out because they were crowding my other teeth.
Anyway, Doc looked at Mark's tooth and said he would pull it, and he got down the whisky bottle. Luke gave him a look and he put the bottle back. The camera focused on Luke while the tooth was being pulled, and Chuck did a fine job showing how anxious and squeamish Luke was about seeing Mark's tooth pulled. Mark had been in a lot of pain before but after the tooth came out he felt much better and Luke sent him to school. Isn't it a shame I can remember all that and I can't remember which episode it was? :laughingcowboy:
I will have to do some research. Thanks, Zanza, you gave me enough information, that I think I can find the episode.
The name of the episode is Baranca. Here is a link to that episode: https://tinyurl.com/y33yq4y2
Baranca! Thanks, Judy! You'd think I could remember it was that episode, that was a really good episode but somehow Mark's tooth got separated in my mind from the other events. :laughingcowboy:
With a smile on my face, I wake up to a brand new day.
