I'll let someone go for this.

I did however have 3 of them. Barbie, I wish I had kept them ... and Slinky, i hated it when it got tangled and ruined, then I would get a new one and it would get tangled. it did not take much to amuse me a a child ha

Silly Putty, I loved that stuff till it got dust and dirt embedded in it and ruin it

those were the good ole days!

I used to love flattening Silly Putty on cartoons and transferring the pictures. That ruined the Silly Putty but it was worth it. :laughingcowboy:

Was it 1)Slinky 2)Barbie 3)GI Joe 4)Silly Putty?

I know there was a lot of controversy around GI Joe because some parents didn't like the idea of their boys playing with "dolls." Now we have action figures galore!

I think the Slinky came first.... then Barbie then GI Joe then Silly Putty...
I used to love Silly Putty--my sisters put it everywhere--floors, walls, clothing... then suddenly, it disappeared. i think our Dad threw it away.

With a smile on my face, I wake up to a brand new day.

I did not look this up, but as a teen, I remember going into a doll store. The nice saleslady told me Barbie debuted in 1959. I was about 18 at the time. That seemed as Mark would put it like "olden days"!
